1.Heat a frying pan over medium heat and place a cooking sheet on top. Place the aji on top of the cooking sheet with the skin side down.
2.Cook for 20 minutes for Hokke. Flip the fish over when the oil on the fish begins to shimmer and the meat begins to turn white.
3.When the meat turns golden brown, take fish off heat and serve with miso soup and rice for a full Japanese meal.
