This award-winning fresh soba comes as a set with Tenobe Somen, nori and tsuyu dipping sauce so that you have all the ingredients to enjoy a staple Japanese noodle dish.
The fresh soba uses Japanese 50% buckwheat and 50% wheat flour for a smooth finish. Due to a special steam sterilization technique, the soba can be stored at room temperature while maintaining its freshness without preservatives.
This artisinal somen is handmade by the craftsmen of Shodo Island off of the coasts of Honshu and Shikoku. The somen is made from100% Japanese wheat, sea salt from the Seto Inland Sea, and Kadoya sesame oil. Serve on a hot summer day to enjoy a delicious noodle dish with your favorite condiments.
