Albacore is very known as whiter meat tuna and it has softer meat, and it has been very popular appetizer in Japan and the US!! Albacore, which is caught in the East Coast of Canada, gets very fatty. While it is still fresh, sprinkle some salt and let it set for over night. Then grill and smoke the outer most side of the tuna quickly at high heat to keep the delicious flavor inside. Traditional Tataki style (seared outside and raw inside) and its delicate smoked flavor is what we proud of! Please choose from pre-sliced one to maximize your convenience and one whole stick which you can slice as thick as you would like.

【Serving Suggestions】
Tataki Style is best to serve with grinded ginger and diced green onion. As it is like other Tuna, if is great with Soy Sauce and Wasabi. As you like, Shiso leaf and sprouted seeds of Japanese radish would be great match as well. ※Dipping too much in Soy Sauce, and adding strong flavored seasoning may impair its delicate smoked flavor.
