Herring Roe is one of the must items for Japanese New Year's dish. Our premium Herring Roe is fresh and it has subtle crunchness!! Please enjoy this gourmet fruit of the sea. It also would be a great formal gift for all happy occasions and seasonal greeting since it comes in nice wooden box.

【How to serve】
1） Our Herring Roe is lightly salted. To get the salt out, soak it in very lightly salted water like sea water (lightly salted water helps to get salt out easier) for about 4 hours.

2） Add some water for a couple times until the water gets very lightly salty. Getting all the salt out, Herring Roe gets bitter a little. In the case, please soak it again in the salted water for 1-2 hours.

3） Take very thin skin coating outside before serving.

【Storing】
To store salted Herring Roe for longer time, put them in a plastic bag or wrap it with plastic-wrap then store in around 14 degrees. After getting the salt out, please store it in 32~41 degrees and consumer as soon as possible.

【Caution】
※This product is not cleaned with Hydrogen peroxide, so it tends to have darker color. It is the natural color and the quality has no problem.

※After getting salt out, please store it in the refridgerator and eat as soon pssible.

※In case if you forgot and left it in room tempurature, Herring Roe goes bad very fast. If it smells bad or see any changes from outside, than please do not eat it.
